Yogurt Cheese Scones
Ingredients
1 3/4 cups Plain flour
1 talespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup cold butter
3/4 cup grated cheese
1/2 – 1 cup plain yogurt (enough to make dough sticky)
How to Make Them
Preheat oven at 425F / 220C / 210C fan oven.
- Mix flour, baking pwder, bicarbonate of soda and salt.
- Rub in butter until mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
- Stir in cheese.
- Add yogurt all at once to make a soft, slightly sticky dough.
- Bake for 12 – 15 mins. Always preheat the oven!
